Winter season projects

Very busy season coming up, with some extremely special projects in the shop:

-The final restoration work on the 1935 Dodge 102-A Racing Runabout is at full tilt, and the boat will be ready for the 2011 show season here in Lake Tahoe. One of only three in the world, it is an extraordinary boat with outstanding performance potential. It was a pleasure to meet with the owner Brad Kessel at the Buffalo Launch Club ‘DodgeFest’!
-The magnificent THUNDERBIRD is in focus this winter for some special engineering work and structural tuning, as well as the comprehensive maintenance needed to keep this icon on the water. What a true joy and honor to work with this 55’ John Hacker designed boat.
-The HORNET is getting its new Aerojet/Crosley engine, along with some chrome plating of hardware throughout. It will be back in 2011at the Tahoe boat shows, with Andrew learning how to drive a true ‘point and shoot’ race boat.
-Some very special advanced design projects are in the works, state-of-the-art hydrodynamics for a new market segment, keep tuned for more in the new year.

Regards- Dave Triano
